Stories and Songs of Miners and Mining at the Cape Breton Miners Museum.

The Cape Breton Regional Library’s new Storyteller-in-Residence, writer, musician and storyteller Bill Conall, has arranged a great evening of storytelling and song for his first official storytelling event!  He will be joined at the Cape Breton Miners Museum, by two special guests, author Hugh MacDonald who will talk and sing about his book Trapper Boy, and miner Vernon Theriault who wrote about his experiences working in the Westray mine and being one of the draegermen involved in the rescue, in his book Westray: My Journey from Darkness to Light.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. All authors’ books will be available for sale and signing.
