The Sydney Gutsy Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis

Families, friends, and neighbours rally to support those impacted by Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis

On Sunday, June 4, over 20,000 Canadians will unite to send one message – it takes guts to stop the pain, the multiple surgeries, and the missed moments caused by Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. Over 60 Gutsy Walk sites will be active across the country, including one here in Sydney. Crohn’s and Colitis Canada aims to raise $3.6 million nationally through the Gutsy Walk to support research, patient programs, advocacy, and awareness efforts to better the lives of children and adults affected by these chronic diseases.
