SUMMARY:Battle in the Bay (Food Drive)
DESCRIPTION:The Glace Bay Food bank along with the assistance of the Cape Breton Regional Police Service are holding a food drive this Saturday\, October 14th\, 2023 between the hours of 10am until 2pm. \nThe food drive will be held at three locations\, Super Store\, and Sobey’s Reserve Street and Foodland Brookside Street in Glace Bay during the same time. \nAll three stores will be going head to head to see who brings in the most goods for the food bank and ultimately the winner will be the food bank. \nThe managers of all three locations have been in training for the past several weeks and will be “ready to rumble” on Saturday. \nPre-packaged food items will be available to purchase along with gift cards. \nPolice vehicles will be parked at each location to accept the food items. \nRain date Saturday October 21st\, 2023 10am until 2pm. \n
