SUMMARY:Glace Bay Terry Fox Run
DESCRIPTION:The 19th Annual Glace Bay and surrounding communities Terry Fox Run will take place on Sunday\, September 15th\, 2019 at John Bernard Croak Memorial Park on Beacon Street in Glace Bay From 2pm to 4pm. Water\, hot dogs and treats available to all participants free of charge on the day of the Run. You can walk\, run\, bike\, push a stroller or even a wheelchair to complete 5km to 10km or whatever distance you would like to accomplish. This site has a track encircling the Dam\, which adds to the environment to make the walk more scenic! (Ducks and Canada Geese) My name is Linda Johnston and I coordinate the Run for Glace Bay with the help of my friends and family members. This will be my 35th Year participating in the Terry Fox fun. It is fun to make this a family tradition with your children because it’s a very worthy cause to sponsor. I do have pledge sheets and t-shirts available before the run and at the site on the day of the run to purchase. You may contact me at (902)- 842-5057. Please come out and join us on September 15th!
