DESCRIPTION:We’ve become one of the events that kick off “Sydney Action Week” in August. Our event is called a “Cow Flop”. Here’s how it works. • Put a cow in a field • Organizers have a grid of squares • Sell tickets to some generous folks\, each ticket representing a square • Set cow loose in field. Wait – for the cow to do his/her thing. If Bessie’s thing lands on your square\, you win. The approximate value of the prize if all tickets are sold is $5\,625.00. The very same amount is given to the Riverview Memorial Scholarship account. This year the Cow Flop Contest takes place August 5th 2:00 pm at McQuire Farm Upper Prince St. Sydney ( take Green Rd. or McQuire Rd. off Grand Lake Rd. It’s at the back of the Sydney Mail Sorting Station). Tickets are $5.00 each\, for a chance to win. You do not need a ticket to come join us at the field\, there will be a BBQ.
