DESCRIPTION:Pride Week Living Library Story Circle Wednesday August 9th\, 6-8 pm James McConnell Memorial Library\, 50 Falmouth St\, Sydney \nListen to the stories and experiences of four members of the LGBTQ community! Presenters will include: Geordy Marshall\, a founding member of Eskasoni Pride; Sheila Christie\, an academic\, queer person and parent of a young transgender child; Veronica\, a woman who was raised as a male\, who is active in the trans community; and Kate Krug\, a sociology prof at CBU\, coauthor of “Under the Rainbow: A Primer of Queer Issues in Canada”\, currently researching female masculinity in The Stone Prince project.  Presenters will speak from their own lives to share knowledge and foster meaningful conversation. Everyone welcome! \n
