DESCRIPTION:\nMemorial Marauders 2019 Mae Kibyuk Memorial Green & Gold Hockey Tournament takes place: Thursday\, November 7th to Sunday\, November 10th at The Emera Centre\, North Sydney.\nSaturday\, November 9th\, during the Memorial Marauders 2019 Mae Kibyuk Memorial GREEN & GOLD Hockey tournament we will be promoting: MHS ALUMNI DAY at THE RINK\n\nWe are working very hard this year to promote this event in an attempt to build both school & community spirit. (Check out our Facebook Event: MHS ALUMNI DAY at the Emera Centre).\nDuring this day we will be hosting an MHS Alumni game at approximately 4:30pm with all proceeds going to support Memorial High School SAFE GRAD 2020. Donations in support of MHS Safe Grad can also be dropped off in advance at Scotiabank North Sydney.\nWe are asking Alumni to sport their green & gold and classic MHS gear as there will be prizes awarded to the Alumni with the most SPIRIT!\nIf anyone missed out on purchasing yearbooks from their MHS days\, we will be selling copies of remaining yearbooks for $5.00 each.\nAlong with our very own MHS Marauders\, Scotiabank North Sydney will be on the scene helping with games\, face painting\, prizes\, draws\, etc\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Writing and Film Making for Beginners\nThursdays Nov 7 to Nov 28th\, 6-8 pm\nGlace Bay Library\, 143 Commercial St\, Glace Bay \nJoin us at the Glace Bay Library for a FREE introduction to Writing and Film Making for beginners. \nKenn Crawford\, author\, film-maker and instructor\, will offer this 4-week workshop for ages 14 and up.  All you need to bring is your imagination!  If you do have a phone\, tablet or camcorder\, you can bring it along\, but it is not a requirement to participate. \nTo be held Nov 7\, 14\, 21 and 28 from 6 pm – 8 pm. \nPlease register as space is limited to 20 people.  Call the Glace Bay Library at 902-849-8657\, or drop by at 143 Commercial St\, Glace Bay. \n
