Our Right to a Healthy Environment – The Blue Dot Movement
Wednesday Jan 10th, 6:30 pm, McConnell Library, 50 Falmouth St, Sydney
Come and hear from Paul Strome, David Suzuki Foundation Ambassador in Cape Breton for the Blue Dot Movement – the tens of thousands of Canadians supporting the simple yet powerful idea that every Canadian deserves the right to live in a healthy environment and have a say in decisions that affect their health and well-being. Canada is one of a dwindling number of countries that do not give their citizens that right, and the Blue Dot Movement wants to change this. See what you can do to help.
Arctic mammal specimens will be on display.
Presented in partnership with the Compassionate Community (or Living as if We Give a Damn…) Educational Series, and the Cape Breton Naturalists Society Natural History Series.
Everyone welcome!
