What is an urban forest?
Why are urban forests important in the age of climate change?
Elizabeth Jessome, Project Specialist at ACAP Cape Breton, will explore the concept of an urban forest, and highlight connections between urban forests and climate change resilience. Discussion will include the many benefits associated with urban forests and the ways that residents can help encourage the development of healthy urban ecosystems.
