Unveiling of Plaque to Honour the Polish Pioneers of Glace Bay

There will be a short, special outdoor ceremony to unveil a plaque to honour the Polish pioneers of Glace Bay. Wednesday, September 30, at 11 a.m. at the Dawe Ave. Recreation Field near Holy Cross Church, Glace Bay. (Rain date October 1 at 11 a.m.) The plaque was sponsored by generous donors. This will be the final community event for this year’s first ever Nova Scotia Polish Heritage Month.
