Luminaries of Love

We realize that this pandemic has taken its toll on everyone, the Foundation would like to provide a bit of light in these dark times. Our goal is to create a safe night in which we can remember and honor those who mean the most to us, whether that be an essential hero in our community or a lost loved one. You may also want to remember a pet, all memories are welcome and whom to choose to remember or honour is up to you.
We would like to invite you to participate in our new fundraising initiative, Luminary of Love. For a $20 donation you will receive an illuminated bag in which you will be able to add a name (In Honor or In Memory of), the luminary will then be set afloat at the shoreline of Indian Beach/M.V. Osprey. Unable to attend? We will mail you all you a Luminary of Love, which can be placed in your yard or on your front porch.

When: 6:30 p.m. October 4th, 2020

$20 donation for 1 luminary
$50 donation for 3 luminaries

All proceeds directly benefit the Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation, meaning your donation stays local and that makes a difference. A tax receipt will be issued for the amount of your donation.
The Foundation has taken all the necessary steps to follow COVID-19 guidelines. To ensure no waste is left behind, the North Sydney Fire Department will be on site to collect the luminaries after being set afloat.
