We are sponsoring 4 events for Gaelic Awareness Month, May 2026 at St. Barra Church & Christmas Island Communities Centre at 47 Church Road, Christmas Island, NS. Saturday, May 2nd: Hannah Krebs teaches local Gaelic songs from 2-4pm. Sunday, May 3rd: “Celtic Spring Family Concert” featuring Local Talent and starting at 2pm. Saturday, May 16th: Connall MacKinnon teaches some more local Gaelic songs from 2-4pm. Saturday, May 30th: Angus MacLeod teaches the old way to compose Gaelic songs from 2-4pm.
