Glace Bay Food Bank Milk Run

October 28 - November 9

Once again, the Glace Bay Food Bank is doing their annual milk run.  They are seeking donations of canned or powdered milk.  It is running until Nov. 9th.  Donations can be dropped off at the Miner’s Forum in Glace Bay.  Any financial donations can be made directly to the food bank. This year, the milk run had to find a new farm for the potatoes they bring during this amazing event.  The new farm delivered.  Mid Isle Farms has donated…

Christmas Bazaar — Polish Village Hall

The Polish Village Hall --972 Victoria Road in Whitney Pier -- will host a Christmas bazaar on Saturday, November 2, from 12 to 4 p.m. One of a kind products and crafts, and many vendors. Admission is $2 in support of the St. Michael's Polish Benefit Society.
