On Saturday May 30th, 10:00am – 2:00pm, there will be an indoor community flea market at the Big Pond Community Hall, 7193 East Bay Highway, Big Pond. There will be pre-loved goods such as tools, clothing and household items. There will also be souvenir apparel, knitting, sewing, crafts, baked goods and more! 2026 Cape Breton MS Walk is on Sunday May 31st at Emera Centre North Sydney. Registration starts at 1 pm and the Opening Ceremonies kick off at 2 pm with special musical guests Breagh Kelly and the Heritage African Drummers. This is a day for all those living with multiple sclerosis, their families and community to show support through awareness, advocacy and education. Come celebrate the power of community at Cape Breton MS Walk!

The Cape Breton ALS Walk will take place on Saturday June 6th at the New Waterford Fire Hall. The address is 3336 Walsh Avenue, New Waterford.
