United Way Colour Run/Walk

United Way Colour Run/Walk: August 13th @12pm in Open Hearth Park. While you run or walk the track, there will be coloured powder thrown on you to change your white shirt into a colourful one. This powder is non toxic to humans and can be washed off, but it may harm your pets if you bring them along. This run/walk is for all ages. 7th Annual Show and Shine

The Cape Breton Mustang Club is hosting their 7th annual Show and Shine on Saturday, August 13th from 11am until 4pm in the Mayflower Mall parking lot. Free walk in admission Please adhere to the 2m or 6 feet social distancing; if applicable. All proceeds go to Make-A-Wish All Vehicle Makes and Models are welcome (Registration is at 10am with a $5 registration fee) There will be a 50/50 draw, music and prizes.

The Aaron & Jolene Memorial Car Show

On Sunday, August 14th, go on over to Plaza Ford at 33 Terminal Rd for the 3rd Annual Aaron and Jolene Memorial Antique Car Show.  The event is happening from 10am-2pm.  There are over 25 awards.  A 50/50 in support of Loaves and Fishes and the Salvation Army.  General admission will be by donation.

J-Street 3 on 3 Road Hockey Tournament

Calling all hockey players!  J-Street is hosting a 3v3 road hockey tournament on August 26th starting at 12pm. Age Categories are:  10 and under, 14 and under, 14 and over. The cost will be $20 per team, and all proceeds will go towards upgrading our basketball and hockey courts at J-Street.
