PUSH youth basketball Canada Day Tournament

We are holding a major tournament for u12-u16 athletes from accross the mark times. It will be at c200, Glace Bay High and our own PUSH Arena. $10 for weekend pass and kids 12 and under are free. June 28-30th. 9-9! Come on out and see some awesome ball.

Canada Day breakfast and bake sale

A Canada Day breakfast and bake sale will be held at the Mira Centre in Marion Bridge with eggs, sausages, toast, home fries, juice, fruit and tea or coffee from 8 AM to 11 AM. Adults $12 and $ 6 for children under 12. Everyone welcome.

Opening of the Chapel Point Command Post

The Atlantic Memorial Park Society is pleased to announce of the newly restored Chapel Point Battery Command Post in Sydney Mines on Wednesday, July 3rd beginning at 9:30. Please see the Lockman's Beach entrance, assistance is available if required. Entrance fee is $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and seniors and the family rate is $23.00 Tour guides are also available. Undercurrent Youth Centre is hosting a "Second Chance Market". The entire youth center will be transformed into a huge market with a large variety of items from electronics to home decor, books and more! There will be door prizes and Entry is by donation. The market runs from 12pm - 5 each day at 224 York Street, Glace Bay. This is a fundraiser for the centre.
