Tuesday, Feb. 11 6-7:30pm McConnell Library (Sydney) Join Terry Dwyer ~ scuba diver, author and shipwreck hunter to learn about his adventures as the last officially licensed Treasure Trove hunter to explore off St. Paul’s Island. Terry has many years of diving and marine exploration to his credit and is considered one of the foremost authorities on shipwrecks in Nova Scotia’s waters. The YMCA is hosting a new and gently used clothing sale on Saturday February 15 from 10 am to 1 pm. Most items will be priced 1.00, 2.00 5.00. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS SALE WILL GO TO PROGRAMS AT THE Y. We have pants, sweaters, hoodies, running shoes, loads of athletic clothes, etc. This event is free and is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
