Glace Bay Library Thurs Aug 8 1-3pm The Fortress of Louisbourg but built in LEGO! Parks Canada staff will bring the pieces and the instruction booklets, and participants can assemble miniature fortifications, buildings, and ships to be displayed at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site this summer! For kids and adults!  

Aug 8 from 4-6 pm. 25 Currys Lane Whitney Pier. Kids fun day Fundraiser in Memory of Valerie Green Andrea. Lots of fun for all ages.

Glace Bay Library Fri Aug 9 2-3pm Come make a cute ice cream craft  

Bridgeport Ballfield on Connaught Ave.  from 12-9PM Come out and enjoy great fun for the entire family. Games, prizes, face painting and more. There will be over 15 vendors on location, as well as live entertainment throughout the day. This is a Glace Bay Antonians fundraising even.  There will be a 50/50 and basket raffle. Sponsored by Glace Bay Learn To Succeed and the Lions Club.
