On Saturday, May 27th at 7 p.m. the congregation of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Sydney Mines, will be hosting a Hope, Hymns, and Inspirational concert with the band Chalk Dust, to celebrate their 182nd Anniversary and you are invited to join us. Harbourside fun day is happening on May 27th from 2pm-4-pm at the Harbourside field. There will be face painting, balloon animals, outdoor games, and more. The Alder Point Blessing of the Fleet is taking place Sunday, May 28th at 1:30pm at the Alder Point Government Wharf. There is a parade on land as well as a parade by boat, beginning at St. Anne’s Parish Church in Alder Point and ends at the government wharf. This is a fun filled day with an Antique Car Show, entertainment by Jokers Wild, music, food trucks and plenty of activities for the whole family!
