United Way Virtual program for seniors

July 14, 2020 - August 31, 2020

United Way Cape Breton have just launched a virtual program seniors can do from home via technology to socialize more, learn more about how to use computers and social media, play games, and more. Meetings are done via Zoom and connects community members with trusted United Way volunteers. If anyone is interested, they may email unitedwaycb@gmail.com or call 902-562-5226.

The Good Food Bus

The New Aberdeen Revitalization Society is hosting The Good Food Bus at Warden United Church, Fifth Street, Glace Bay. The bus will be parked with fresh fruits and veggies at a reduced price on July 18th, Aug 1st, Aug 15th, Aug 29th from 10:00am - 11:30am. There will also be an accompanying vendor/flea market. Everything will be held outdoors and social distancing protocols will be in place.
