Celebrate World Storytelling Day: Stories of Home
Thursday, March 23 6:00-8:00pm McConnell Library (50 Falmouth Street, Sydney) We’ve organized an evening of stories and tea in Celebration of World Storytelling Day. The theme for our evening is ‘Stories of Home’ and could inspire memories of childhood homes and the places we come from, what ‘home’ means to us, etc. Special guests include veteran storyteller, Bill Conall (CBRL’s Storyteller-in-Residence) and a few first time storytellers also. Concert at St. James Presbyterian Church, 1918 Old Route 5, Big Bras d'Or March 31, 2023 at 7 PM Join us for a mix of favourite hymns and songs with the common theme of Hope and Inspiration. Tea/coffee and cookies will be available during intermission. This is a fundraiser to support refurbishing our well. Free Will Donation at the door. Come celebrate spring with us!
