The St. Vincent de Paul will be hosting a Food Drive on Oct 17th in the New Waterford, Lingan, Scotchtown, New Victoria and River Ryan area. You may leave non perishable food in a visible spot on your front step. If you are missed please call 902 862 3779. Thank you!

The Good Food bus is back in New Aberdeen, Glace Bay. The Good Food bus will be parked outside Warden United Church on Fifth Street, October 24th November 7th & 21st from 10:00am - 11:30am. The bus has fresh fruits and veggies for sale at a discounted rate. It's open to everyone! There will also be an outdoor flea market while weather allows. Social Distancing protocols must be followed.

A scaled-down version of the Annual Christmas Bazaar will be held at the Polish Village Hall this Saturday, November 14, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. There will be 12 vendors -- with beautiful, one-of-a-kind items. Physical distancing and public health measures will be in place. Admission is free, but donations to support the St. Michael's Polish Benefit Society are welcomed.
