Glace Bay Library Feb 1st-14th During Library hours Pop into to Glace Bay Library between Feb 1 and 14 to grab a wrapped book. It is like a blind date, you won’t know what you get until you unwrap the book at home. You might find your new favourite author of 2025!  

ALL CBRL Branches February- all month long Winter Reading Challenge will run from Feb 1-Feb 28. Pop into any branch of the CBRL to sign up for the challenge. This is for all age groups. Read books all month and have a chance to win some cool prizes!

Hike Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Highlands National Park present a guided hike on the Warren Lake in Ingonish on February 2 at 1:00 PM. Registration may be required in advance; details at www.hikenovascotia.ca.

There will be a Valentine’s Day Market this Sunday, February 2 from 12-4 at the Italian Hall , 14 Gatto st Dominion. Lots of great vendors and something for everyone on your list. Admission is $2 or a non perishable food item. Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase food items distributed to the local food cupboards in the surrounding communities.

Come to the McConnell Library in Sydney every Wednesday in February from 1-3pm for free workshops on how to manage your finances. Staff from Money Path Atlantic will lead the four sessions.
