Fall Seniors Café: Safe Medicines for Seniors and Caregivers Tues. Oct. 25 1:30-3:30 pm McConnell Library (50 Falmouth St., Sydney) A helpful session to grow our understanding on the safe and proper use of medicines. Maggie Roach (Caregivers NS) & Brandon Toner (Pharmacist, The Medicine Shoppe) will share in the presentation and Q&A. Sheila Schuehlein with CBRM’s new Senior Safety Program will also talk about the VON’s Vial of Life program. No registration necessary. All are welcome.

Our community group LAPPS is having out annual Pumpkin Stroll on the Louisbourg Boardwalk on Thursday, October 27th from 6-730 We are having Beavertails , Colbournes care community food Truck, and fire performers Stephanie McPhee and Devon MacIsaac. People decorate pumpkins and bring them down to the boardwalk to be on display in to be judged for the funniest, scariest, most creative.
